I’m not a Drag-Queen!
Yesterday, I began my track into the world of Ferelden as one of the last Grey Wardens. This is not a game review but more an opening to discussion. I will bring a game review over this eventually, but right now I want to know your thoughts on the game, and if there is anything I should look for as I explore! I chose the mage class which is the first time I’ve chosen a squishy-like character as my main character. I am enjoying the fluid animations on the spells though! Very well done! What class did you choose? What have you liked about it? For those who haven’t been able to play it yet, what are you looking forward to?

I actually bought this on Steam last night. It was between this and Borderlands and the reviews won me over. It’s a huge game though and its still downloading as i type this
. I can’t wait to get started though.
Haha, it sure seems vast. It’s interesting to see some small professions in this game, such as poison-making, trap-making, and herbalism. I’ve already had to skip a quest because I didn’t make traps. I shall never be able to help that poor poor lady.
Two friends watched me play, and they constantly bashed the graphics. I thought the textures looked about the same as Mass Effect, with Mass Effect doing a better job on character detail. Yet, throughout the night, they continued to remind me how crappy they were. Though, I do only have a 480i SDTV…:(…I wants some HD!!
I am hoping my beefy PC will show itself strong on my behalf with this game
Yeah definitely going to have to buy it. I hate waiting on download times.

@Gavin Pretty tight, can’t wait to play around more with shapeshifting…It’s interesting doing dps and healing really good at the same time. haha
I played for awhile last night as a human warrior who is the son of a Nobleman. I have to say the opening story hook was incredible and I lost track of time playing because I just wanted to know what happened next. I am less than impressed with the combat so far though, maybe i’ll enjoy it more once i get higher up in levels/have more abilities.
This game is great! I waited for half a year for this game and it has not failed me yet. Already great story twists and the characters are very different from each other which is great cause sometimes in games they can be very similar which kinda dulls the interaction. But im a human noble warrior and im enjoying the gameplay alot!
Ive yet to play it, Ive just watched it played. And honestly it doesnt look too bad gameplay-wise. I was less than impressed by the graphics though. I’ve decided to hold out on buying this one and wait for Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin’s Creed 2.

@CrossingCairo I constantly get the feeling throuhout my gameplay, that if I wasn’t a mage, it wouldn’t go down the way it did. It constantly feels like I can only do my story because I’m a mage. Makes it interesting to see what the warrior and rogue stories have it set up like? I heard as a noble warrior you get a mabari dog handed to you. As a mage, I had to do a quest, and treat the mabari back to health! Small, but interesting difference!
Just finished DA…I don’t know if I’m happy with my ending…Too much of it felt like I had no choice at the end, and thaty whole
group was falling apart!
Well Like I told you. You had to have gotten the worst ending… I mean if there were any worse, i can only imagine the depression that would soon consume you.
I would be pretty upset with your ending as well.
